About dmi students' ideathon

The DMI Student Ideathon is a collaborative event for students at DMI to develop innovative solutions for marine and environmental challenges. Participants work in teams to brainstorm ideas, learn presentation skills, and submit their proposals. The event encourages creativity and problem-solving while addressing real-world issues. Prizes are awarded for the best ideas, making it a rewarding opportunity for students to contribute to environmental conservation, Win only by your innovative Idea

Timeline

1. May 5th, 2024 → June 1st, 2024.

   Registration

   You are required to fill in the registration form name of your team and your collaborator

2. May 8th, 2024 → June 1st, 2024.

   Brainstorm and Learning

   At this stage participants are required to learn from the additional useful material we have just provided, to learn on how to present their ideas, how to write and present the pitchdeck as well as coming up with the bright idea for the event, which corresponds to the event goals and objectives on time

3. May 5th, 2024 → June 5th, 2024.

   Idea submission

   Participants are required to submit their ideas by filling in the submission form available at the Submissions tab

   Post Ideathon mentorship

   Ideas from the ideathon will be encouraged to be developed into actual products, for the next event
